STN is an online database service that provides global access to published research, journal literature, patents, structures, sequences, properties, and other data. 

With STN, find precisely the science, technology, and patent information needed to make business-critical decisions:

STN is the only platform that offers the ability to search CAplus^SM, INPADOCDB, and the Derwent World Patents Index (DWPI) - key databases for determining patentability, state-of-the-art, infringement, and the legal status of patents - at one time.

In addition, STN provides the largest repository of publicly available sequence information - REGISTRY, GENBANK, DGENE (GENESEQ^TM), PCTGEN, and USGENE.
